Statement of Faith

1. The Bible
We believe the Bible is the inspired, infallible Word of God and the final authority in all matters of faith and practice. It is sufficient for teaching, correction, and instruction in righteousness.
References: 2 Timothy 3:16–17; Psalm 119:105; Hebrews 4:12; 2 Peter 1:20–21

2. God
We believe in one eternal God who exists in three persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. He is the Creator and sustainer of all things.
References: Deuteronomy 6:4; Matthew 28:19; 2 Corinthians 13:14; Colossians 1:16–17

3. Jesus Christ
We believe Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God. He was born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, died for our sins, was buried, and rose bodily from the dead. He is now seated at the right hand of God and will return again.
References: John 1:1, 14; Philippians 2:5–11; 1 Corinthians 15:3–4; Acts 1:9–11; John 3:16; Romans 8:34

4. Salvation
We believe all people need salvation because sin separates us from a holy God. Salvation is God’s free gift, offered by grace and received through faith in Jesus Christ alone. It cannot be earned through good works or religious effort. Through Jesus’ sinless life, sacrificial death, burial, and resurrection, He paid for our sins and made a way for us to be made right with God. By His blood, we receive forgiveness and are reconciled to Him. Salvation is found in no other name. Only by trusting in Jesus as Lord and Savior can anyone be saved.
References: Ephesians 2:8–9; Romans 10:9–10; Titus 3:5; John 14:6

5. Baptism
We believe baptism is an outward expression of inward faith. It is an act of obedience and a public declaration of a believer's identification with Christ’s death, burial, and resurrection.
References: Matthew 28:19–20; Acts 2:38, 41; Romans 6:3–4; Romans 10:9–10

6. The Church
We believe the Church is the body of Christ, made up of all believers. The local church gathers for worship, teaching, fellowship, and mission.
References: Acts 2:42–47; Ephesians 1:22–23; Hebrews 10:24–25

7. The Return of Christ
We believe Jesus Christ will return personally and visibly to establish His kingdom. This return gives believers hope and motivates holy living.
